I actually don't want Office right now. I want to use Office Professional which I have. First eliminate the possibility that you are entering the product key incorrectlyMicrosoft product keys do not use the numeral zero and the letter O, nor do they use the numeral one or the letter I, because these are so easily confused.

Quite often in the font used for product keys, the letter B will look like the numeral eight. If you eliminate the possibility that you are entering the PK incorrectly, only one explanation remainsthe product key you have is not for Office Professional Since you are convinced that the Office Professional license allows three installations it does not , I have to assume you acquired your product from a non-Microsoft source.
